March 12, 2016:  As we prepare for our 2016 Boot Camps in Delaware, I thought it was important to update you on the activities of the American Warrior Initiative (AWI) around the country.  Please click on the link below to read the December 2015 Situation Report from AWI.  The link will connect to my Dropbox public folder.

AWI Situation Report – December 2015

The mission of AWI is to inspire, encourage, educate and give back to our active duty military members and veterans.  Fairway Independent Mortgage – the mortgage company I’m proud to work for – founded this non-profit and organizes the educational platform for real estate agents and mortgage professionals where they learn to handle the home purchase needs of former and active duty military.  Boot camps are held throughout the country where real estate agents have the opportunity to not only receive continuing education credits, but also the certification of “Certified Military Residential Specialist”.

Our Delaware Boot Camps are scheduled for May 5th in Wilmington and May 6th in Rehoboth Beach.  Let us know of any local veterans who may benefit from our initiative… we want to step up so that they are not forgotten.  If selected, the recipient will need to attend our Boot Camps on May 5th and 6th to receive a generous donation that will honor them for their service.
